Graduate Researcher | Master’s Student

A 20-year public servant, Sarah is studying to become a Master of Arts in Community Development through the University of Victoria’s School of Public Administration. Sarah currently holds the role of Executive Director of Communications and Engagement with the B.C. Environmental Assessment Office. Her strong dedication to improving the lives of people in British Columbia has drawn her on a career path that started in the health care sector, then moved to the field of Indigenous relations and recently landed in the natural resources sector. Her area of research interest centres on community engagement, with specific focus on trauma-informed approaches to community engagement in impact assessment. Sarah also holds a Bachelor of Journalism with Political Science from Carleton University.
