Every year, students at Dalhousie University journey across Mi’kma’ki (Nova Scotia) and Unama’ki (Cape Breton), to learn from Mi’kmaq Chiefs, Elders, and Traditional Knowledge Holders as part of the ENVI 5039: Indigenous Perspectives on Resource and Environmental Management field course.
