Cisca is an undergraduate student joining the HEC Lab as a Summer Work Experience Program (SWEP) student. She is currently pursuing a BScH in Life Science with a minor Gender Studies. She is passionate about equity, especially through the intersectionalities race, gender, and health. She enjoys spending her time volunteering with the Peer Support Centre, assisting the Cantabile’s Young Women’s Choir, and singing in the Queen’s Choral Ensemble.
Cisca’s research interests involve how different communities interact with health, including but not limited to Indigenous, intersex, and trans communities. By working in solidarity with these groups she hopes to create sustainable and equitable resources that best serve these communities.
