BAH Candidate – Geography
Alyssa joined the HEC lab in the summer of 2017 as an undergraduate student in the Department of Geography and Planning at Queen’s University. Alyssa has completed a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Interior Design with a focus in sustainable building practices. She is currently earning a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Geography and Environmental Studies, and plans to attend graduate school after graduation. Alyssa is interested in expanding her knowledge of the social and environmental issues that face Canadian communities today.
With a background in design, Alyssa understands the importance of fostering healthy environments for the people. Her research interests revolve around understanding social and environmental issues we face today, and how these challenges can be addressed through partnerships and sustainable development.
